Solidarity with Turkey and Syria

We are deeply saddened by the devastating recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

The fallouts of these events continue to be felt. More than 1.9 million people are taking refuge in temporary shelters or other public facilities, and over 20 million people in Turkey and 8.8 million people in Syria are estimated to be affected by these tragedies. Their experiences have been harrowing.

All of us at CUPE 3908 send our profound condolences to those affected by these tragedies. Please be aware that Trent offers counseling services for anyone in need. And don’t hesitate to reach out to us at office@cupe3908.org if you require assistance.

In solidarity,
Your CUPE 3908 Executive
