This workshop will inspire and guide you on ways to incorporate the fight against racism and discrimination into your academic work. We will be interrogating our identity and questioning its impact on our worldview, before doing a deep dive into the origins of racism, what whiteness means and how it is ingrained in present-day academia.

The content covered in this workshop is designed for academia but it can be applied broadly to the field of education.

Future Ancestors is an Indigenous and Black-owned, youth-led professional services social enterprise that advances climate justice and systemic barrier removal through lenses of restorative anti-racism and ancestral accountability.
